1998年k-ci&jojo以双人组的身分灌录首张专辑"love always"在此张专辑中标榜以"love"为主题也在歌词方面避开或提及"sex"的字眼有别于在jodecl那时的创作风 格~~k-ci&jojo也特别声明发行这张专辑只是希望跳脱出以往jodecl的风格并不代表jodecl已经解散了 .专辑中也邀请了babeface及原是jodecl一员的devante swing跨刀助阵.专辑中"all my life"这首描写手足之情~男女爱情的歌曲在推出单曲时就已经是billboard榜上的冠军了更是全美各家电台点播的冠军曲 .另外babeface跨刀所创作的"how many times ( will you let him break your heart)"慢板的r&b以清脆的木吉他作为伴奏加上k-ci&jojo两人一高亢一浑厚的合声~是首令人感伤的情歌.jojo所创作的"how could you-bonus track"整首在他们干净的合声中为一首清爽的抒情曲.
