昨年の秋、ハーバード大学、僕がラドクリフ図書館をよく利用していた。
僕が密かで、この静かな図書館によく通うのは、必要な本が揃えっているから。試験前の日のできことだった、
　　図書館で一冊の本を借りるつもりだった。カウンダに女職員が二人いて、一人は背が高く、派手な格好だった。
もう一人は静かで、メガネをかけていた。僕が彼女に本を申し込んだ。
　彼女が不親切の目線で、ハーバード大学に図書館があるじゃないと質問を投げた。
　ラドクリフ図書館の許可を得たよと答えた。
　そうりゃそうだが、けど不公平じゃん、ね、プレッピー。ハーバード大学に五百万冊の本があるよ、
うちただの何千冊・・・・・・

She gave me an unfriendly look.Donot you have a library at Harvard? she asked.
